Hi Friends,

hp pay app load wallet via credit card which card is having zero charges kindly share your experience about the rewards/CB for this transactions.

FYI my holding cards are SC Manhattan, HDFC Regalia, IndusInd Legend and ICICI Apay as well as LTF Coral.

Guys update as of 6th july 2024:
Recently, ICICI has disable fuel transactions on their fastags. DYOR before loading bulk amt in ICICI tags

You need to login to ICICI etoll website using your fastag customer ID and password. It will show up fuel enabled yes or no in one of the tag detail menu options

I guess both are good. I’ve been using ICICI FASTag with HpPay. It’s has worked well so far.

I am using IDFC Fastag and I never had any issue. Indie Megastar gives me 10% cashback on Fastag recharge and 1% is given by HP Pay.

Any android user able to use icici fastag to scan hp pay qr and pay with icici fastag balance? I am still getting record not found error after selecting icici fastag on hp pay app..

I think it's the issue with that specific pump. Did you try at any another location?

Both have their own Pros and Cons.

ICICI BANK FASTAG:-

• More daily and monthly transaction limit (₹7500 and ₹85000 respectively)
• You will have to use iMobile which is trash from fastag management point of view. It doesn't even show you fuel transactions.

IDFC FASTAG:-

• Less daily and monthly transaction limit (₹5000 and ₹30000 respectively)
• Better separate app for the fastag which has all the features you will need.

I have IDFC Fastag. Last month I made 3x2.5k transactions. When I went to make the 4th transaction of 3k, it gave me an error of max limit exceeded. So for IDFC, the monthly max limit seems to be 10k.

Daily transaction limit of Rs 7500 but single transaction limit is 5000 means you can do 2.5x3 or 5 + 2.5

No... I was talking about the total consumption in last month. I refill about once a week. 3 times I refilled with 2.5k. Fourth week when I tried to refill 3k, it gave error of transaction limit exceeded. I had not done any other transaction that day, so it must be a monthly transaction limit of 10k. I should have tried again with 2.5k, but there were cars in queue, so I just paid directly with a credit card.

Other petrol pump have crossed hp pay qr.. They don't want us to use that qr code. Also I don't think it's petrol pump related issue

As per my experience in Hyderabad, the attendants will know whether they support HP pay. They are now having the QR in mobile phones. (some still have on the pillars). So always check with them.

If they are not accepting via HpPay, you raise a compliant. Last year I complained for a petrol pump in Kokapet, Hyderabad, I got a call back in 2 weeks and since then they have started accepting.

You need to complete Full KYC to get 30K limit. It's same for ICICI BANK as well.

MAX is addon for fastag, it doesn't have any affect on fuel payments

If this way is not working then ask staff for Drivetrack Plus machine and use FASTag sale option in that.
