First Check XPRESSWAY, thats the only way to check whether it is Pre-approved or not.

It shows pre-approved for millennia visa, Indian oil rupay, Swiggy master but all are paid cards
Look for link from HDFC app ad. Even i was getting mail for ltf card but most of the time it showed paid card but link from app lead to LTF offer. So try that

How to get that link from the notification when I actually cleared my notification as I thought if it were true I will definitely recive mail or text message new app isn't showing the nofication
Open HDFC app menu and check for message icon on right top. click on that and check
Just checked in new app and then again checked my old application both do not have any messages or notification
No worries. keep old app and wait for notification. They'll keep sending it. Also look for ad while using the app
Similar incidents happened with me, sometime it will show paid sometime Ltf . So keep checking through different Ltf links and notification which you get and when you see Ltf without fees 0 fees , just record it and grab it.
