Thing is both SBI and HDFC cards are mahmoth and PhonePe wants customer data with these cards. They are jealous of Amazon enjoying party from long. I hope Amazon answers that with own cobranded card with similar benefits. Both are non-Indian cos.

Anyways, applied for my brother using his PhonePe acc. and verfied using his Regalia Gold card for KYC. Application submitted at 08:10:41 PM exact. He has no other HDFC CC so maybe they will approve by today evening or Monday.

Will Credit limit be shared one? Currently he has 7.58L on Regalia.

Having Millennia, Swiggy, Neu Infinity, UPI RuPay with 1.58L limit and Pixel Visa+RuPay with 30K limit. PhonePe Ultimo "not available" for me and shown only eligible for Uno. Declined after applying "as per internal policy" (Too many cards obviously). But even if I close UPI RuPay (which works in sales/instant discount offers), there's no guarantee HDFC will approve PhonePe card and I am not going to close others 🙂

In my case, SBI is generous towards me. Inspite of SBI CB's credit limit of 90k, I got SBI Select.
