FD Based Credit Card suggestion with no cibil history

Please suggest me a credit card for my spouse with no cibil history.
For first timers, IMO fd based CCs are a good way to start.

I'm okay with FDs upto 50k and txns will mostly be limited to offline QR code scans and payment.

Get icici bank coral rupay for cibil generation.
If want some benifit you can try supermoney also

But my tendency is icici for easyness also it'll help for card to card application in future. Which will be hard for Fintech cards.

So choose accordingly.

50 k is not bad, but 1L or 2L fd will be better for future C2C limit. If 50k is done limits on C2C will be around 50k. If that's ok then no problem.

How long should the FD be held for?
supermoney is showing 1% cb on offline txns, wasn't it 3% earlier or only for supermoney pro users?

There are three options according to me
1. Hdfc online fd, for 1.1 lac you will get millenia and diners previlage both are not good for offline millenia you can change to rupay and use for upi
2. Hdfc fd 40k-60k you will get tata neu plus card. Works for upi and you will get tata neu app 5% access
3. SBM zet My personal suggestion 5% off on APAY vouchers and 20% off twice a month of Swiggy, Instamart, zomato. Can be done for fd of 5k.

I already hold a salary account with HDFC. Is there a way to apply for an addon Millennia card with my spouse's name?
Or open a family account (since they say benefits remain same) and apply for a cc ?

Add-on can be done without opening, it's your choice/ call , how you want to proceed.
Her saving account and Pre-approved or FD lien CC.
Or add-on to your CC only.
