Orkla India which is part of Orkla Europe more like a investment firm is open for IPO subscription tomorrow. They own MTR Ready mix foods. I will apply few lots. Good business is South and they don't own the MTR restaurant business.

And Studds helmet IPO is coming. I don't see any attractiveness in it though I have used it and liked their quality. I will give it a miss.

Studds was the only helmet brand which I owned and used, and there was this another brand, Steelbird. These are the only two which I know, although I don't know much about these companies.

ORKLA seems good, MTR brand I know, but don't see their presence here in North India that much. Ready-to-eat foods basically, I think they sell. Anyone with broader knowledge about it?

MTR is good since long in North ⬆️ too, product line and quality is that those have taste in, don't go outside.
(Obviously not everyone have the taste in a product line they are offering - so might be you see lesser on shelf)

Orkla parent company in EU is more like a private equity. They buy companies/brands, ride the wave and sell it off. So if you are applying thinking about MTR consider it for medium term 3 to 5 years.

Quick update: although GMP is not the main criteria, still , it's showing in the range ~ 10% , of studds LK and Orkla as of NOW.
