I'm planning for 6 to 7 nights in Singapore in Dec 2025 with family.

Looking for accor options. I'm looking for a premium hotels like Novotel kitchener, swisshotel, Sofitel, Pullman etc.

I'm also thinking 4 nights one place and another 3 costlier nights like Dec 31st Jan 1st in Novotel.

What are the 1st hand suggestions based on the experience. I think I do have sufficient accor currency.

Consider good quality, closer to tourist attractions and good feel of Singapore.

Hey, can people who have already been to singapore shed some information

Q1 I have seen people using tap and pay cards on metro and buses there, can 1 card be used for 2 people and can card be swiped instead of tap?

Q2 I am planning to use JCB rupay credit card everywhere on my trip, can we buy universal tickets offline when in Singapore?

I'm planning to book 2 nights in swisshotel and 5 nights in Novotel kitchener.

Being accor silver, any suggestions on booking lower category rooms and expect any upgrades?

Also is it better to book without breakfast and add on in the hotel? Any difference in the pricing?

Also i see for non refundable bookings, i need to pay right away. I have sufficient points, but if I pay now, will I get status points or nights?

No upgrades are given for silver

Adding breakfast upfront is better

If plans are confirmed and the prices for your day you are looking at are normal based on Price calendar, then book non refundable.
If you see the prices as high, then book refundable option, monitor the prices for some time and then cancel at reebook non refunadable rates.

Novotel is more like midscale. If looking for premium go with Mondrian, Swissotel or Premium. Some can be booked for about ₹25k a night.

Surrounding Mondrian is good area?
I mean do i get good Indian food around?

Does it feel too left out from the city?

Is the local shopping around that area is good?

You will get indian food for reasonable only at Little India. Check on google maps which accor hotel would be most near to that, if thats a dealbreaker for you
