No need of HDFC MAB for Savings Max?

So, I’ve got an HDFC Savings Max Account, where the Monthly Average Balance (MAB) requirement is ₹25,000.

But when I opened the HDFC app today, it proudly tells me:

“You don’t need to maintain average balance in your account.”

Actually, it says — “Relaxxxxx! You don’t need to maintain average balance in your account.” 😎

Now I’m confused — did HDFC just remove the MAB requirement for Savings Max accounts, or is my account getting VIP treatment? 😂

Anyone else seeing this message?

Dont trust app or netbanking. check with ur branch. it is showing to me too then i asked branch they checked in system n said u have to maintain.
else dont maintain balance u ll get sms to maintain mab or charges will be duducted. Same question i asked few months back.

Yes, it is showing same for me also. The time I migrated to new HDFC about 3 months ago, it started showing 0 MAB. Haven't tried in practical but I have recorded the same in a video for future safety. Must be a technical issue in new HDFC application.

psu me bhi mera kch me accha experience tha. ek mail se kaam ho jaata hai. canara,cboi,
boi/bob is worst tho
