💬 My Take

This is an excellent promotion, especially for those looking to top up their Marriott Bonvoy balance for upcoming stays or redemptions. A 40% bonus is quite competitive compared to previous transfer offers from Indian banks.

That said, if you hold an American Express card, it often remains the superior option for earning and transferring points to Marriott Bonvoy.

Still, for HSBC cardholders, this is a great opportunity to maximise your existing reward points, especially if you have Marriott stays planned in the near future.

Looks like hsbc has taken over the role of Amex this year. Everyone is/was waiting for Amex with similar offer, but instead this year it's HSBC to the rescue for some. Keeping the legacy 😉

So let;s say I have 20K points, I have option to get 28K marriott points via this offer, or transfer to accor to get 20K points. Which one is more valuable? So it does not looks interesting.

Platinum visa, should say 70 points right?
I called hsbc also, they said we don't know anything about marriot compain

Exactly, even with the offer, transferring to Accor or even booking flights or hotels through their portal seems more valuable than transferring to Mariott Bonvoy.
