and I have Union Bank for daily UPI transactions

Now I want to open a account for my investments

What type of investment you are looking for ?
Like FD's

I guess you are looking for an account to fund your investments in MF/Stocks/Bonds etc and not the bank's FD/RD, in that case better go for a full fledged bank and the top three are ICICI/SBI/HDFC, since you already have HDFC go for ICICI

Idfc, even in savings account they have good interest rate. Plus their mobile banking and internet banking is good.

It may be harmful, if you are using Company's bank account for your personal investment 😉

if u can live with 2 accounts 3rd will not be reqd , by any chance you miss to deposit money from Salary to investment account or some shortfall ur sip will be skipped / bounced .
