Upcoming IPO' s 🔜

X factor of PW is their cheap online classes. But I don't know until when they'll sustain, when the attrition rate in edtech is among highest.
The offline model is not sustainable at all. Once company is listed it's primary focus becomes earning profit. IMO it's very difficult to remain on top in this edtech field.
If tomorrow some famous teacher starts free YouTube classes and also takes some doubt solving sessions, every edtech firm will have to shutdown.

Looks like most of the ipo coming will be opening on positive side. At least 8/10, maybe a strategy to keep the investors interest for upcoming big issues and to prove to investors the positive market and it's sentiments for larger subscriptions.

Should i go for HNI in the upcoming ipos?
2L enough for this?
Whats the process?
Ram Bhai 🫡, main bahut chota hun...
15k ki application bhi koi Full koi, Half me lagata hun(maximum IPO nahi lagata),
Ab iske agey kya bolu...
Apne ko" Risk hai to Ishq hai "😉 nahi hai...

For your query ;
Retail upto 2 lakhs
2 lakhs to 10 lakhs HNI category(small)
10 Lakhs Plus HNI category(Big)
Check your broker, may be ASBA ONLY for big size above 5 Lakhs Application.

Me apse bhi bahut chota hu.
Don't even know what is full half

If you want to apply for HNI then if possible apply for 10 lakh , your chances of getting allotment will be way higher then applying 2 lakh
ASBA is the best way to apply for HNI
10L not possible.
Tqs for the information though

I"ll tell.

To make it standard SEBI structured it, every single application in Retail can be equal to 15k or less .(Nos of shares × Issue price of Share <= 15K )

As most of the IPO don't justify the Valuation, so it's difficult to get conviction to apply IPO for a value mindset investor.

Later one of my friend pushed /suggested me to keep 15k seperate to apply selective IPO for listing gain only (pocket money) anything above 6% is ok.

I applied 2-3 IPO in 2023, and fed-up with no allotment, stopped applying afterwards.

Now most of the time either I don't apply or apply half worth of 7.5k in a single retail (15k) with other friend, who is more lazy than me.

Thanks for detailed response.

Similar story but in 2021 to me.

Due to frds suggestion, i kept applying ipos, not getting anything made me frustrated. Finally and Finally got one ipo which talk of the town paytm ipo, i was super happy. Then horror struck me on listing day, listed negative, was waited till end of day for some rise, but it kept falling, waited more days it kept falling. Lost about 4 or 5k. Ended up being the last ipo🤣🤣

Then this year due to @La pasión i got interest again. Got 3 ipos so far
Nsdl got 1k listing gains, I should have kept for short term as suggested by @fradela
Lg ipo, got approx 50% returns
Lenskart ipo😭 1200 loss. It recovered after I sold. Great lesson.

Due to Lenskart depression, didn't applied groww, physics wallah surprisingly they went super up.

This stock thing is all about ifs and nots🤣🤣

Exactly 💯 ✅
It's more of a tricky business..
So gamble according to own capital and risk appetite is necessary!!
To get easy money 💰 is not that easy!

You can share the investment with your friends or family; that’s one way of offsetting the principal investment as well as the risk.

I have done this a few times-especially in companies in which I don't have much trust.
