Infinia Pre-Approved upgrade offer from DCB plastic to DCB Metal instead of Infinia. Should I take it?

I recently used my DCB plastic to make payment for car purchase (~12L) hoping I will followup with them for the renewal based on the spend. However, yesterday, I got card-upgrade pre-approval message, hoping for the best, but turned out they are only offering me upgrade to DCB metal. My current DCB is LTF and they are offering FYF card. I could have paid for infinia, but for this upgrade I am bit skeptical as I will lose LTF status and that's not even for infinia.

But I would like to know your opinion, if the metal upgrade will make it easier to get inifinia in future?

You should wait, make the transaction and then try via email for Infinia upgrade. Or else staying with DCB PLASTIC is better. Direct upgrade to Infinia is possible from plastic dcb.
Even I have Ltf dcb plastic and I received Infinia upgrade offer, but I didn't.
