Revaluation Axis Bank Burgundy Debit Cards: Unexpected Revaluation for Are you kidding me reaction :P

This is correct; and not an April fool by the bank in Nov 2025.

Axis bank has revalued some of the benefits (esp. the lounge) on Burgundy & Burgundy Private debit cards !!

Some of the key changes for Axis Burgundy Private Debit Card:

1. 8 Domestic Lounge visits for self and 4 guests visit per quarter (minimum spends of just Rs 5000 required in previous quarter)
2. 20 International Lounge visits per year for both Self & guests combined (beats the Axis Magnus Burgundy Credit card on guests quota)
3. 8 Edge reward points per 200 Rs for domestic txns (earlier it was 3 reward points per 200)
4. 10 Edge reward points per 200 for international spends (No change)

5. Golf benefits: 4 Complimentary rounds per year; 12 golf lessons per year; 50% off on green fees

6. 20 lac Personal Accident cover; 1 Crore Air accident cover;

7. Daily purchased limit increased from 7 lac to 10 lac

8. BookMyShow offer Movie Ticket price cap increased from Rs 500 to Rs 650 for BOGO offer

Domestic - 10ER per 100 spent
International- 3ER per 100 spent
Int Lounge was 16 including guest per year
Domestic lounge was unlimited+4 guest per year with no spend criteria.
BMS offer: 6 B1G1 upto 500 and 4 upto 1000

For normal Burgundy DC it was
Domestic 2ER per 200 spent
International 6ER per 200 spent
Domestic lounge 3 per qtr

I actually stopped using the normal Burgundy DC once I got the Citi to axis dc..

Even my priority debit card meant for old CITI customers (5181, ..) had unlimited domestic lounge access.
But now that is gone. It's become trash tier now.

Before conditions ->

Domestic AirportLounge - Enjoy unlimited complimentary lounge visits for cardholders

Now ->

Update on airport lounge access benefits:• The complimentary domestic airport lounge access benefit has beenrevised to 2 visits per quarter applicable on a minimum spend ofINR 5,000 in the previous 3 months.
The complimentary international airport lounge access benefit hasbeen revised to 2 visits per year (from 8 visits) for you andaccompanying guests at select airport lounges outside India.

It sucks completely, it was one off the hidden gem debit cards I could rely on for lounge access.

Seems like it. No unlimited lounge access, that too without spend.
So far iv got only 1 email for my Citi migrated account. Waiting to see what they send for my axis Burgundy account.
But I guess they will consolidate both cards as one type.

Never come to an easy conclusion about axis's change in T&Cs unless you are using that product currently.....
