SBI Debit Card – Reward Points Not Credited

Hi Everyone,


I’ve been facing an issue with SBI debit card reward points and wanted to check if anyone here has experienced something similar.


I made a Myntra purchase using my SBI debit card in December 2024 amounting >7000 Rs, along with few other online transactions including bill payments since then, but no reward points have been credited for any of them. I created my SBI Rewardz account in August 2025, and it still only shows 200 points — which are just for downloading the YONO app and the SBI Rewardz app.


I’ve emailed SBI customer care multiple times related to no reward points for myntra transaction, but every time they say they’ll “look into it in 15–20 days.” It’s already been over two months, and there’s still no resolution. I’ve also registered a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman on 22nd September, and I’m currently waiting for their response.

It seems like none of my physical or virtual debit card is generating any reward points.


Has anyone else faced this issue or found a solution? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

I got email from rewards 4 days back. Points in that is more than what shows online on app. It should be what I should have considering points in this month since Nov 14th. So, I am hopeful.

Oops. You are right. Just realized that points shows more in that email because i redeemed some points. 🤦🏾

True. The monthly E-statement emails contains reward points information for the last month. We need to understand the points credit situation this month post 15th Nov.

1k reward points on Rs. 1 lakh spend in a month, is it counted separately for physical and virtual debit card?

Like, if I spend Rs. 1 lakh each for virtual and physical debit card in a calendar month, then, I'll get 1k reward points each?

Points are calculated per account. That account can have physical or virtual dc or any add on dc. So per savings account dcs you will get 1000 milestone points only.

only one 1K on a total of 1L or 10L irrespective of cards....

Points are calculated per account. That account can have physical or virtual dc or any add on dc. So per savings account dcs you will get 1000 milestone points only.

Cred required higher amount to enable DC I think so never used it. With Rupay DC, I used phonepe and sbi unipay.

yes, min. amount is Rs. 50k to pay CC bill via DC on Cred

Did you get RPs this month card payment on Phonepe?
I didn't get this month even after 7 days of transaction.

I have done 9 transactions in this month out of that as of now only 1st Dec and then directly 9th Dec transactions reward points came. Rest is still waiting. Such thing happened last month also and missing point came on 28th Nov. So I will wait till end of this month for all those missed 7 transaction points.
