Hi, I just got the premier credit card. On the rewards portal, I see we can buy Apay vouchers. Does this give accelerated rewards?

You got Rs. 1500 refund on 30k. Your Effective price is 28.5k.
When you cancel you will get a refund of 28.5k. So it doesnt matter whether you used the 1.5k or not.

Yes - I got the card but salary will start to credit next month. Just paid the joining fees yesterday, now awaiting points credit!
Unlimited Lounge access is applicable for addon cards too.

Hi, I just opened my HSBC Premier account (salary linked) and received the Premier Credit Card. I have made my 1st transaction and the card fees are also charged. I have fully paid the transaction plus card fees - statement not yet generated. I need the 20k points urgently since I need the Avios for my travel. Any idea when should I get the 20k points?

Update: I received the reward points today. Therefore, my conclusion is that reward points are credited immediately once all of the following conditions are fulfilled (statement generation is not mandatory):
1. Joining fees are charged and paid
2. One transaction is made and paid for
3. Both the above entries are posted in the account

Was your first salary already credited or not? In my case, The first salary will be credited next month but I have opened the salary account this month.
