I saw this post on reddit yesterday where there is a drill-down of what the new gen gift card platforms offer in terms of Bank rewards and their sweet spots.

For Maximize, there seem to be many use cases and I think I have personally tested most of them.

• HDFC Swiggy via PhonePe PG - 5% cashback
• CC on UPI via PhonePe PG - 5% with Kiwi Neon, 3% with SuperMoney
• SBI Cashback via Razorpay PG / PhonePe PG - 5% Cashback
• Axis Cashback / M4B via CCAvenue PG - Upto 7% Cashback / 3x AEP
• Debit cards - 5% on HSBC Corporate Salary, Kotak 811, etc
• Diners - works with Marriott Bonvoy HDFC, Diners Black, Biz Black
• Amex - Low charges with Gold and MRCC milestones (1500x4 or 1000x6)
• AmazonPay Wallet - Infinia, Plat Charge, EPM users can double dip via SmartBuy / iShop / Reward Multiplier + Maximize
• Wallets - PhonePe, Mobikwik, Airtel, Ola (Ola card gives 5%), Jio, Payzapp
• Prepaid cards - ANQ, GoSats, PinePerks
• Axis Atlas - IYKYK, 5 EM vouchers available

I wrote to the support email ID and got the below response -

I assumed it would be similar to FORA travel advisor perks, at the bottom of the page they had around 10-15 GCs and I tried to do a transaction with my Magnus and then I called the customer care to check the MCC and they stated its 7011. So IYKYK !

Intermiles does this, but Intermiles has issued already redeemed vouchers to me so I don’t trust them and its in the news that they layed off their entire staff, could be closing down any moment.

So I am posting it here since this TF has helped me a ton, but my request is not to bombard social media. Lets keep this treasure to ourselves.
