Bandhan Bank vala aap kaafi time se coming soon daal rahe ho mere khyaal se aa chuka hai ab toh vo haina?
Here -

I’m going to Japan tomorrow, I have AU Ixigo, and IDFC first wow, along with JCB Rupay Variant of YesBank Ace.

Should I spend using my JCB card, or 0 forex AU Ixigo/IDFC First Wow? I’m asking this because i’m not very clear whether I’ll be getting my cashback, how much of a hassle it’s going to be etc. Please suggest, thanks

you will get 25% Cashback but you’ll have to stay patience. Everyone gets their cashback whenever the offer comes. It has actually happened that sometimes cashback arrived after 8 to 9 months, after the offer date had expired.

Don’t expect the cashback to come before April 2026.

Japan is Cash heavy... Anywhere outside of metro areas if you go, you might find yourself in need of cash... Keep it handy.
Also this has a cap I think in the Rupay card. So, once you exhaust that, move to 0 forex ones... And cashback I think will be credited in about 6-7 months post this. So, it will take time.

But RuPay JCB Card accept almost everywhere in Japan because JCB is a Japan's own credit card company.

@varunsrini7 by the way next time apply SBI RuPay JCB Platinum DC or SBI Pragati RuPay JCB Platinum DC - both debit card offer Zero forex, best currency conversion rate + no extra fees on International ATM Cashback withdrawal.

Many shops in rural area will not have Card machines only. Toh JCB acceptance ka kya karoge janaab, lol.
Many vending machine are cash only. Or passmo/suica....

BTW, these DCs are zero charges?

@Abhishek012 yes bank is only offering me elite+ while applying online. it is not on rupay-jcb 🙁. What to do!
All Yes bank RuPay credit card are RuPay JCB variant. No need to ask customer care because they dnt know anything.

If they offer you Elite+ RuPay variant then go ahead. By the way i dnt know Elite+ available on RuPay or not but if available then 100% you will get RuPay JCB variant (dnt forget to share the card masked image if you get Elite+ RuPay CC).

also another doubt; can i clear my credit card bills to get back my limit by paying via gpay/any other upi app(through cheq/cred)?
