I had submitted request in branch on Dec 6 for RWC50. Branch people obliged and after biometrics, I received an SMS saying form Submitted along with a form number. However, I am unable to see any card details in the app. I contacted the branch people, they say that It has been sent to Chennai office for processing.

How long does it usually take. Or do you think Chennai office denied request?

Update: Visa Rewards Debit Card now visible in the app.

Took unusually long time of 6 working days to be shown in the app. Now will wait for the card delivery.

Branch people were coperative in issuing the card. I told them I want this specific debit card, they filled in the form for me with the RWC50 code (also filled by them without me telling them). No questions asked.

I did make the request before the website was updated.

Not in same account. Platinum will be deactivated as soon as get rewards or any other card.

I think so. Debit cards are linked to account numbers, not customer ids.
