Hi all,
I'm thinking of opening a HSBC premier account. However I have about 6 cibil hits in my report till now, they will get cleared by January (6 months period).

I wanted to apply for this premier credit card since they are giving 20k points until December 31st.

I wanted to ask the people who had applied for premier cc recently. if while applying for the premier credit card, was there a cibil check?

CIBIL check will be there, and tbh 6 hits not much concern if you have >3Y CIBIL history. Premier itself provide that card to you, further co-ordinate with your RM to process it. Again, ur providing ur value to bank as premier account, so don't worry about others, you're eligible to get that card.

Okay thanks 🙏

How soon will we receive the 20,000 points after the first transaction? I got my card today and want to cash out the 50% bonus.

I think maybe within 30 days of the first transaction. I think you won't be able to cash the 50% bonus, they might credit the points late

if u prefer airmiles and able to utilize their accelarated platform for flights or hotels.

For cashback, on paper not worth it unless one talked about actual value of 1 accor point and value of 1rs.
I heard that the rates there are pretty much inflated, so technically you end up paying much higher (best rate guarantee is max 1500 rupees as travel credits right?)

Yes, it's standard accross all banks afaik.
Eg: for axis as well, upon first transaction, the welcome benifits were credited like after 3 weeks.
