I received a message today saying I am pre-qualified for the Tata Neu HDFC credit card. I already have an HDFC DCB credit card.

If I apply for it, will it make a hard enquiry to CIBIL?

Thanks, I was wondering whether pre-qualified credit cards make a hard enquiry or not. I previously read somewhere in the community that pre-approved ones don't.

I got Tata Neu Card without any CIBIL enquiry and it is my first HDFC card.

Yes, for sure

On top of that HDFC does two enquiries for a single application. Typical HDFC behaviour which doesn't even make sense.
