Until 03rd Oct, I was under a cooldown for a staff's mistake.

Now, I am eligible to get a pre-approved credit card (verified) with a credit limit of 90k.

However, the dilemma is that I am only given three choices to choose from:
1. Moneyback+
2. Tata Neu Plus.
3. Indigo 6E (This one's paid and I am not even interested).

I wanted to go for Millennia since that is a far better card compared to the list of choices I am given.

Is there any way I can actually get Millennia in this situation? I got a call from the bank and he basically told me there's nothing he can do from his side when I asked him about it. He basically wanted to push me towards Moneyback+ but it's a card that's not useful to me since I don't shop on 3/4 sites it has 10X CP for. Primarily because I have a SimplyClick card that I am 100% sure of meeting the spends criteria for renewal fee waiver when its due. Even though the limit is absolutely trash, I am finding it comfortable to meet my spends since my current liabilities + desires are 90% of the limit given to me in a given credit cycle.

I would appreciate if someone can advice me what would be my best approach in this situation.

I also am pre-approved for Kotak's League Platinum but that's a whole different story I don't wand to spend time on, for now.

My current cards are:
1. OneCard (Federal) - 50k
2. SimplyClick (SBI) - 20k

PS: If I don't choose the pre-approved card on offer now, is there a possibility that the pre-approved criteria itself will also be lost?

Neu plus is the better card but not sure whether upgrade offer is applicable on a co-branded card in HDFC. Alternatively, you can wait till Millennia shows up.

You might want to wait for millenia offer. If you want right now, moneyback+ is a better option for upgrading in the future.

if you satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned on their website, i think you can apply directly on website. it might not be 'preapproved', but approval won't be an issue if your credit history is good.
millenia is the bottom most card in diners variant so shouldn't be any issue. you maybe just need to submit income proofs.
i would suggest avoid going for cobranded cards unless you spend regularly on those brands.

It doesn't even let me look at any other cards apart from the ones listed in the post. I have tried every method and it takes me to the same page claiming "My session was already saved on so and so date/time".

I do have considerable spends on Tata brands for groceries and healthcare. But that doesn't really help considering the only choice I have is to opt for Neu plus.

going to the branch and manually filling out the form. they have a list of credit cards tick box, you just have to tick against the box and submit.

before going to branch, try contacting them on their grievance redressal emailid explaining your problem.

No offense intended, but unfortunately, I am not the kind of person to put so much of an effort to go to my branch, do some paperwork just for a credit card. In fact, ever since I have opened my account, I almost never had to go to the branch for any purpose.

I'll follow your other advice to write to the grievance redressal and see what they have to tell. If it turns worse, I'll just ditch the plan entirely and wait for them to offer the card naturally at a later date, and probably look at Kotak for now.

DM me your Full Name and Contact number so that I can share your details with an authentic HDFC Card agent who can process your application offline. Just talk to her and see what she has to say.

haha none taken.
I haven't visited the branch even once, and when they were forcing me to visit branch for minor things, i escalated to their emails, and people from the branch showed up at my doorstep to collect all docs!
i thought maybe you really wanted that card badly so suggested going to branch.

Just posting an update to this mess.

On Friday, I wrote to customer service and explained my issue to them. The same day I got a mail to check back after 2 days. Well, yesterday (Sunday) I was able to see Millennia available as LTF. I applied, got it approved and now the card has been dispatched.
Can you please tell me on which email address you emailed?
