No reward points on grocery spends on HDFC DCB

Hi,

I checked my HDFC DCB statement and found that there were 0 reward points mentioned against my grocery spends and had a reversal of rs 180 reward points against grocery spends.

Is there some change that I'm not aware about?

Can anyone let me know what to do?

Yes, grocery spend rewards have been capped at 2000 per month. Also, these rewards are credited around statement date instead of 2-3 days like normal points.

I'm using regalia. I too didn't received RP on groceries in Feb Statement and I mailed support and they told it will ne credited on 1st week of march.
Today received March Statement not received RP for old and March groceries transaction. 🫤

i had written to them and they said that since the grocery points was capped, the points will be credited in the following month, and not like normal reward points that get credited in the immediate next month.
but i have not verified if they are actually crediting it or not in the following month. my mistake that i trusted a bank's response. will have to go back and check now.

Since there is capping of 2000 points, it became calendar month calculation.like @ltf4ever told, this is the explanation I got. And yes they credited the points correctly in the subsequent month statement under the bonus/insurance section as grocery points.

Same with Regalia also and verified.

2k per month is fine. But I didn't even receive 1 reward point for a month as reward point mentioned against grocery transactions is 0 and no reward point received for the month yet. Also, in the bottom section of the statement, there were few reward points mentioned against grocery spends and few reward points were reversed against grocery spends. Confusing..

I too didn't receive reward points for jio mobile recharge through Payzapp. I got grocery reward points for Feb I think. But there are some 100 points reversed showing as Grocery reversed. HDFC Bank has become horrible with statement. Looks like I have to take help from chat gpt to interpret my statement 🤬🤯
