SBI and Amex cards LTF how?

I see a lot of people here have got SBI cards and Amex cards LTF. Some people also have co-branded (example Vistara) as LTF?

So what's your secret guys?

SBI card can only become LTF if retention team offers you that when you place card closure request

AmEx only has companion cards

If you hold Plat Travel then MRCC becomes LTF as companion

What if someone holds MRCC, Gold and Plat Travel, can the gold become LTF?

I got MRCC LTF since Amex was running some promotion. I referred my friend during the same time but he was being offered paid version. SBI, I've never heard of them offering any card LTF tbh.

What if someone holds MRCC, Gold and Plat Travel, can the gold become LTF?

They will give mrcc as ltf companion for plat travel but not gold
