How to upgrade Simplyclick to Basic Vistara CC

Is there any way to upgrade Simplyclick to Basic Vistara CC?
Currently, having one emi going on simply click card and don't want to hold 2 sbi cards.

I called cc team and they said currently that card is not showing for you.

Maybe your spends are not much on existing card or your existing card limit is not that high to be eligible for upgrade to vistara cc

They'll ask you to clear that EMI in full. Only then you can attempt to get a new variant.

You can't upgrade/flip to/from co-branded cards with Customer Care.. you have to close and apply fresh online/offline

Same advice as in the quoted comment, close one of the cards and apply Vistara Prime fresh (preferably offline)

Thanks, how much time shall I wait from the last card issue (SBI Spar issued in mid-June). Shall I cancel SBI SPar (20K limit, issued in June) or SBI SC (3 lac limit, issued 2 years ago)? I would like atleast 1 lac limit on new card (My CB has 1.8 lac limit which I can reduce to 1 lac since that's the max benefit anyway). I found a good guy for SBI when I applied for my wife's Prime online, he will help with some minor stuff, even he mentioned cancel and reapply. I could cancel both as well but I don't want to be without any SBI card eligible for sale discounts (meaning other than Cashback) before the festive season!

90 day waiting limit is applicable when applying online, not sure about offline process. Just close one card as the limit is 3, but not sure how SBI will assign limit on the new card

You can't flip your card to vistara , I tried everything but failed.
