HDFC Regalia LTF

I got a call from an HDFC agent that an LTF credit card is on offer. I've attached the screenshot the caller sent by whatsapp.

- Is this truly LTF or does it need some minimum annual spend or something like that?
- How do I know this isn't a scam? They asked for PAN, Aadhar, salary slip, bank statement, and copy of existing credit card.
- What is the C4C? And why am I being asked for scan of my existing card? Can't I apply normally without giving them my existing ICICI card details?
- Finally, is HDFC Regalia any good? The main benefit I see is 2% foreign currency rate and lounge benefit that I don't have in my ICICI Platinum LTF card.

Thanks!

I took my regalia ltf with this method from my Stan chart card
But the guy with whom I applied is known to me
I gave card image and all
If fully new third party ensure safety standards

Yes, it is safe, they need just front face of card.

Mask the middle number of card and cvv.

Yeah, I dunno the person who contacted me at all. Is there anything other than masking out the middle digits of the card? Should I mask out any part of the Aadhaar / PAN / Pay slip / bank statement too?

Another question: I'm currently residing in Bangalore but the address in Aadhar is my parent's address in a nearby tier-2 city. Will that be a problem?
No u can’t mask all details if u do then the agent won’t be able to login ur application
Tier 2 city with hdfc not a concern they have wide existence

Thanks everyone! I applied for the card -- didn't share any documents on WhatsApp since that seemed too shady and only gave a xerox copy to the doc collection executive who showed up with a HDFC id card.

I had asked for the Visa variant, but I was told that the mastercard variant is being issued and someone will contact me with an "explanation". Is there anyway I can change it to Visa? (And is there is any advantage to mastercard? I've always preferred Visa since it has worked better on foreign sites in my experience).

Nearly 3 weeks after applying for this HDFC card, someone visited for Aadhaar biometric verification but my fingerprint wasn't recognised -- I suspect it's because I got my Aadhaar 10+ years ago as a teenager, and I've faced this fingerprint recognition fail before too. The dude who came for biometric said that I'll receive a video KYC link since fingerprint isn't working. But, today I got an email saying that the current address I gave doesn't match what's on Aadhaar and that I should physically mail a self-attested address proof (Voter ID / passport / Aadhaar) to their Chennai office or drop it at a nearby branch. I should note that I'm currently staying with my relatives in Bangalore but all my govt ID has the permanent address of my parent's house in Mysore.

Has anyone faced this before? Should I just physically mail them another copy of the Aadhaar (or voter ID?) and keep my fingers crossed?
