Axis cibil enquiry for LE

I had axis ace for 6 month with limit 15k. So I applied manually for LE. After 4 days they increased the limit but did a cibil enquiry.

Is it normal ? As I did the same manual procedure in HDFC 1 month ago , but they did not do cibil enquiry and increased the limit without cibil enq.

You can combine all of your cards limit into a single limit try sending an email to them

When did you get LE in primary card.
How old is your sec. Card.
Did you talk to cust care

My zone 5 yrs old
Flipkart axis 3months old
Both LTF
In march got LE on my zone.
Customer care want documents when I said to remove per card limit and match the limit of both cards.
So that I will have the same limit on both cards.

May be now is not the correct time.
Will try after 6 months via RM.

What if I close FK card and re apply after 3 month ? Then the new limit will updated shared.

Or maybe I will close FK card permanent as I use hdfc millennia more

if you have applied by any means CIBIL enquiry is a must procedure for banks to access latest cibil report of customers.

Today axis called me to inform about LE.
He confirmed that sec. Card's limit restriction can be removed after 6 months
