Yes. It's HDFC tactics that even if you don't have offer, they will lure and do cibil hit.

Check in your Netbanking for offer section, don't rely on email banner.

No idea. But you cab try Tata Neu Cards, they can be easily issued as floater cards

i got this email with subject confirm your address and get your new credit card instantly. But page gets stuck after otp verification.

My brother got this banner and got the card . But calling to customer care he found that it is not even fyf. Limit he got is 137k which was already showing before applying. What to do now.

Fees is always mentioned at the application page. Nothing can be done here, except for just requesting them to waive off the fee.

I don't know either hdfc bank person has called or it was some private agents as he was getting froud calls las few days. That lady also provided his I card. Also he has mailed the bank that he will not activate the card if it is not confirmed as lifetime free.

If agent mentioned the card as ltf, then fight with customer care. Drop a mail to hdfc team. If no response, proceed with RBI BO
