After ACE shock, it's time to bring my LFT HDFC Millennia from grave. Please suggest me the correct way to pay utility bill (with 5% cashback back, ignoring Rs. 99 +18% GST point redemption charge) through Amazon a) Buying AGV using Millennia and paying through AGV or b) Direct Bill payment using Millennia.

FOA, there's no redemption charges for points redemption in HDFC Millenia.

Next, it's better to buy AGC and then pay your utility bills, or as some other also say, direct Utility payment do fetch 5% directly, can be done that also.

I have done a few more transactions of 5%, and for those I got the cashback message, in which the gift card transaction wasn't calculated.

For 30th April txn you will get 5% next Month.
Since txn would get settled on or after 1st May , therefore HDFC would consider it as a txn of May'23 not Apr'23.

I do get messages for 1% and 5% category cashback. But it's not every month I get messages.
