Try with customer id (instead of user id) and password. For only credit card users, you can find cust id in profile section in netbanking. It should work in browser, too.
World has already moved to mobile number largely, Axis still has all these stupid Cust ID, User ID which are difficult to get/ manage. Anyway I have saved them and hence not an issue but many will forget.
