Devaluation alert, end to Vistara CV party?

Gone are the days when we enjoyed Vistara DEL-BLR economy for 7500 CV points even 2 days before travel.

Not a single ticket available before 12 June (~ one month from now) for 7500 points. Where skyscanner has good availability for 6k-9k revenue seats!

Devalued because CV #members have shooted up or because Vistara cut down award seats?

Me too need a flight for 24 June, but no availability in economy or even premium economy using CV points. Further the price is 9k revenue vs 6k for air india same time early morning. Dunno why vistara prices are so high

June month is summer holiday season, so prices are high, availability is low.. same goes around Diwali and New Year

Yes, I too faced the same today. If I want to book using cash, they show the availability, but when trying to book using CV points, they're only showing business class ticket.

Yes I tries for July month too not showing for award ticket I have two premium economy and 1 business class ticket and 4 upgrade vouchers. Am held up for personal reason else I would have used it.

I booked my return ticket for Aug first week and all seats were empty. Even for July end prices were reasonable (7.5k CV DEL -> BLR)
Although I faced little issue in June BLR -> DEL but luckily got an economy ticket for 7.5k points, rest were 9k CV + 2k taxes. I think it was just the June month

Well i was lookin BOM-BLR and could find flites of two weeks later and could see seats at base points fare

I also do agree that it was probably because of June month

o it wont let you redeem only

You can't but call vistara care but why do you want to. Check some flexible date or you can contact vistara and check dates available. Else when you issue business class ticket and try booking it will show the date and time of flight available for award tickets .if u don't want that date cancel it dont submit . It will be blocked for 24hrs and then it will be available again. If you don't want to go through this hassle. Call vistara and check dates with them and choose then.

The thing is the routes I care for do not have a direct flight and the other flight which is there didn't show me any option of business class

I finally used my two premium economy ticket bangalore to jaipur but they count leg basis blr bombay and bombay to jaipur two award tickets. But last year when I booked blr ahmedabad even that was through mumbai stop over but used only 1 award ticket because I redeemed it online. If we go to care they will reject it saying two are required. But sometimes online only one award ticket accepts for a between stopover. Confused systems. Could not upgrade to business but I saw blr to mumbai 3 business class empy seats and mumbai jaipur 4 empty. When I asked for upgrade they said no. I must say 8 premium eco seats to were empty. Returning by airindia but booking experience was bad online it kept declining called Air india care and booked for same flight funny part I saved almost 300 inr online it was showing 7693 but care booked it for 7323.
