Hdfc bank millennia,Kindly suggest best credit card for wallet load (Paytm wallet, payzapp, mobilwik etc.).
Paytm charging 2.3% ..checked just nowAnd has 3.3% charges for Paytm
Yesterday i got to know they even charge extra for bills payments like electricity using credit cards😂And has 3.3% charges for Paytm
Yeah until and unless they start charging or remove the option! 😁So if we can't complete any criteria or if you want to use CC once a year and you don't have any option then you can load money in Amazon pay, maybe Rs. 100 and you are good to go.
Let's keep this part to us then 😂Yeah until and unless they start charging or remove the option! 😁
Most wallet started that, Mobikwik was the first. I think there is a threshhold after which they start charging conveience fee through cc. for ex. till 2500rs mobikwik won't charge any conveience fee after that they charge around 2.5%Yesterday i got to know they even charge extra for bills payments like electricity using credit cards😂
No. Only if you add money to wallet and pay it through the wallet (in one step). I paid our electricity bill through Amazon pay cc, and there were no additional chargeYesterday i got to know they even charge extra for bills payments like electricity using credit cards😂
true. apparently, most 'traditonal wallets' like paytm, mobikwik, phonepe, etc have so called 'platform' or 'convenience' charges. so it could be a little challenge to pay elec bills w/o charges if amount is >10k (so that amazon no longer allows thru credit cards). You can try adding money in Paytm wallet via Zomato (go to payment option and click on recharge paytm) upto 4000 without any additional charges.
Works with Blinkit as well. You can try adding money in Paytm wallet via Zomato (go to payment option and click on recharge paytm) upto 4000 without any additional charges.
I have paid a lot of bills through PayTM , but there was no convinence charge. I also paid LIC Premium > Rs 20k, and still no charge either. People with PayTM Credit Cards will benefit much from this. I don't know why other people are seeing wallet reload charges, or if this convinence fees are being added to other users gradually.true. apparently, most 'traditonal wallets' like paytm, mobikwik, phonepe, etc have so called 'platform' or 'convenience' charges. so it could be a little challenge to pay elec bills w/o charges if amount is >10k (so that amazon no longer allows thru credit cards).
One would be forced to explore and use next set of options in such a case. However, most individual elc bills tend to be <10k most of the time. so amazon will continue to be defacto choice for many ppl
1. paytm does have convenience or 'platform' charges - adding to wallet, payment of elec bills, etc. interestingly, their charges are seen varying or customized across users.I have paid a lot of bills through PayTM , but there was no convinence charge. However, adding money to Amazon Wallet(APay) through Credit Cards does not attract any extra charges, but PayTM and all charge them. I don't know what Amazon is doing.
Lic can be paid with cc.. I paid 47000 with my bob credit card on amazon1. paytm does have convenience or 'platform' charges - adding to wallet, payment of elec bills, etc. interestingly, their charges are seen varying or customized across users.
wallet reload charges were introduced when it business model saw a change - earlier, they were not charging to customer at time of reload, but money once put in wallet could not be withdrawn w/o charges. but now its the opposite i.e. there are charges for adding, but withdrawal from wallet is free!!
2. paytm wallet money can be transferred to bank. it is also usable for cc bill payment and a large no of shops using qr.
amazon wallet has diverse use, but still not as flexible as moving directly to bank. so there are some material differences.
still agree, amazon generally has more liberal and customer friendly policies. their thought process currently is against putting conv charges on bills etc. though amazon too has been increasing restrictions following a different capping type approach (like no bills thru cc at all even with charges)!!
true. 10k limit is not implemented for insurance on amazon currently. it is there for elec bills etc.Lic can be paid with cc.. I paid 47000 with my bob credit card on amazon
