NEWS FLASH! Axis offering an upgrade from MAGNUS to RESERVE!

Got a call this afternoon. The guy politely enquired if I am facing issues in using my Magnus or Ace.
Then he offered an upgrade to RESERVE from MAGNUS without documentation.
I’m not really interested in RESEVE but I wanted to verify if this was a genuine call or not so I told him to call tomorrow.

Also, I called the burgundy support and they confirmed that the upgrade is available. So, Axis is deliberately trying to offload Magnus customers.

I don’t really understand the logic behind this upgrade being offered by AXIS but it’s AXIS, so one can’t really be sure of anything anymore.

Did any of you got the same call?

They want more joining few because magnus cards will see mass cancellation

how much did they say ? 50K+gst or anything less ? and when will the joining/annual fee applicable day of upgrade or magnus aniversary ?

Checking with customer myself too. Before Sept 1st (for Reserve), it is 25L spend, which is same as Magnus later on. So, if there is no joining fee, it makes sense to upgrade to Reserve CC condition being if there are no joining fee

Those with less than 6 months of relationship with axis magnus is not eligible. Well, could try again after September 1st.. or will have to wait until 6 months is completed

Why would anyone pay to take axis reserve? Unless they truely value luxury above cost effectiveness. In that case too amex plat makes more sense.
