Hello everyone,

I am looking to get a regilia or diners privilege cc for my wife she already has a hdfc MB cc with 1L limit.
From 1 year she did not get LE or upgrade even using reguler spends or dining, online shoping and at Mall. She don't have that much interested in these things but i want her to Get a for her use as her spends are mostly on dining traveling.

Can you suggest how can i get Super premium cards like Infinia or DCB or atleast Diners privilege or Regilia
Any idea about it?

DP I can recommend
since you’re saying travel is the criteria later the DP card after LE can be upgraded to DCB which have global unlimited lounge access to primary and addon

I was casually checking out what HDFC credit cards can i apply for. I saw Diners Club Privilege but the annual fee thing is making me anxious...

does this mean LTF credit card or am i in for a surprise of paying renewal fees every year?
If its LTF would definitely take it.. else no as I already have a Millennia
And, is it necessary to own a Diners Club Privilege to have offer for Diner Club Black?

You have to spend 3 lakhs in a year to make it free. It is written in the last line in blue strip. You have not got LTF offer.

Also, not necessary to have DCP to upgrade to DCB. You can upgrade from other cards as well if your fulfill HDFC's conditions

@starstruck

I at one point was... Tbh even now am thinking to get this as a second card. And close it right after 1 month (Amex is not well accepted in my city, let alone diners club) stating negligible acceptance in hopes of getting it LTF. I currently have mailed to turn my millennia LTF lets see how that goes and accordingly will take a call on this.

What do you assume would they do? Accept the closure request right away? or coerce me to keep it and finally give up and turn it LTF?
(I am kind of hoping too lot at once).

So to get this card I assume there would definitely be a CIBIL hit. I am wondering would there again be a CIBIL hit if they initiate to close the card?

They will try to get you to keep the card without offering LTF at first. After this, it is upto them to make it LTF if they want to retain you.

There is no cibil hit for card closure. When the card gets closed, they will mark it as closed after 3-4 months which does not affect the CIBIL score much.
