Can anyone with Accor Traveller membership confirm if there are any discounts for these 2 hotels for the following dates if I buy Accor Traveller membership:

For 2 Adults:
1. Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium - 10th Feb to 14th Feb 2024 - Superior Room with 2 Twin Beds with breakfast - 25,580/- incl taxes
2. Homm Bliss Southbeach Patong - 14th Feb to 17th Feb 2024 - One Bedroom Superio Sea View, Twin with breakfast - 25,532/- incl taxes

I am getting 5% off as I am currently having base accor membership. If there are any good offers in hotels during this period, mostly in these 2 hotels, then I may purchase Accor Plus Traveller membership by 31st Aug for 4000 ALL points. Please help to confirm someone if I would be able to get some benefits for this upcoming trip!

Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium will cost 23825
Homm Bloss South beach Patong is showing same rate. Don't know why

Pl suggest if going ahead with a Accor Plus Explorer makes any sense at all at 13.5k. There is an offer of getting 4000 CV points through Vistara linkage but that is of not much use to me but an added advantage nevertheless.

Secondly, Is it easy to book the free night and is it actually valid on hotels like Fairmont Jaipur or Pullman Delhi since this is an additional cost of around 6k over the Traveler membership considering 4000 Accor pts is valued around Rs 7200. Also purchasing directly before 31st can help completing Magnus August milestone + few RP’s as well.

Don't! I am not able to book Sofitel anymore with points. But fortunately they accept points at checkout.
I booked IBIS Nashik with points before buying membership. As soon as I purchased Accor Plus that option is not available anymore. Glad I booked before buying membership.

I called Accor plus customer care, they said call restaurant and confirm for using points on checkout.
The regular Accor customer care said they cannot book with points from their side. Now my points are kind of stuck and can only be used for international destinations.
Though this is a real bummer. Would request some other Accor Plus members to chime in.

Free nights can be easily booked through app.. Only flexible rate rooms can be booked through points.. Better mail the hotel directly n ask them if they accepts points as that can be used a proof later if they say yes.. Becoz when u call the customer care half of them don't know anything. Only few have the knowledge. Try contacting Accor plus customer care no by getting someone who is already a member as that will help you in deciding

So, I wanted to know that right now I have Accor Classic. I have got points and I am planning to turn in my membership to Accor Plus, tomorrow. Now, I know once I make it accor plus I will have a new accord membership number. Will I be able to add that new Accor membership number to my ER and add points there? Or, should I transfer to the old membership number and the points will show in both old and new accor membership number?

I called Axis Travel Edge support with the same question today. They asked if I had already attempted to transfer point to the new membership ID? I said that I hadn't. They asked me to email the details to Axis Travel Edge email ID and provide the old ID to de-link and the new ID to link.

You don't have to even mail them. Just do one thing. Unlink your old account with Accor or just add a new one. Any rules will be applied post-1 Sep.

To give you an example two days before I deleted my old Krisflyer account. The account was deactivated due to inactivity. Created a new account of Krisflyer and added that and transferred points from axis ER. All points got credited today in the new account.

I am gonna do the same for accor also.

You're right, the new rules for linking accounts come into play from 1-Sep. Best to do the changes right away.

How do you unlink an account from Axis Travel Edge portal? I don't see any option to do that. How did you unlink your old Krisflyer account?

Bro, Just open the Travel Edge transfer portal on the website. Look for those three lines in the right top corner. Click on the " Link Member". See the list of transfer partners. Unlink the old account.
Now follow the same process and add the new account. In fact, I would say if you want to make any changes to any other partner do it right away only. Don't wait for later.

I was planning to purchase Accor Plus in September first week. Do you think, if I did that, I won't be able to add the new membership number successfully instantly? Would I have to wait 60 days?

In this case, I too shall probably get the Accor Plus right away.

Can you tell me the property name and date for which you see the points booking option available? I'll check if it's working for me as well.

I tried booking over call, they told me it's not possible from their side too. They asked to settle via points during checkout. I wrote a long email with all the screenshots to Accor, I got a callback, They understood the issue but even they said you can settle with points at checkout instead and it's up to the hotel to provide pay with points while booking, but at checkout, they should accept the points. Doesn't look like this will be fixed.
Hey, did you get any resolution on this? Are you still facing the issue of not being able to pay by points through the App, after purchasing Accor plus?

I don't this you will have the option then to change it. As per policy, only one ID could be there. You can refer to the t&cs of Axis.
