Hi Team,

How to get an SC credit card, I've applied 3 times and all three have been denied, I've had savings account with them for almost 2 years now.

Recently I applied for SC EasymyTrip card again as I getting pre-qualified emails but they declined my application stating that I do not have enough credit history. However, I have 17 credit cards according to Cibil with six years of history and zero payments delay

By the way, they offered me a pre-approved offer for the DigiSmart card a couple of months ago, and I applied, but I haven't heard anything from them since then, so I'm assuming they declined my pre-approved offer as well.

SC and HSBC is pretty much strict with their approval to only salaried person, that too mostly MNC employee. I got my SC smart and ultimate pretty easily being in MNC

Please enlighten on this Gurudev
A 36L ITR is required for self-employed individuals. One of my friends, who is also self-employed, holds a card from SC. Although it might be irrelevant, a few years ago, my father was pre-approved for their Manhattan card; I'm unsure if it's being issued now. This is why I mentioned that the criteria for self-employed individuals to get basic cards is quite stringent.
