I think a thread for all the ways to get MCC of merchants using various bank payment modes is very useful. Hence creating a complete thread for this ...

Ways I know of: ( Will Update All Different Ways in the initial post ) -

IDFC Smart Statement using net banking on their website ( In Narration ) By:- @VISHESH_BANSAL
Contacting Axis Support on Twitter and asking them MCC for the transaction


Any other ways to get a Merchant Category Code for our transactions will be highly appreciated ....

Quick question - any idea regarding Parkplus MCC or "parivom technologies"?

Idfc smart statement is not showing MCC. It only shows merchant category which isn't accurate.

IDFC Smart Statement is no more showing MCC codes of transactions. Anyone pls check and confirm.

How to get the smart statement?
In none of the statements I have got there is mention of mcc codes.

I am getting the MCC codes from IDFC credit card transaction details from the IDFC Mobile banking app as follows.

1. Credit Card -> Transactions (In maroon colour)Right to home
2. Tap the transaction for which you want to get the MCC
3. Click on "DOWNLOAD RECEIPT" at the bottom left.
4. Open the pdf. The last line of the pdf starts with a description. It has a string like "CC/6540/xxxxxxxxx" (xx are some transaction number)
5. The 6540 is the MCC for the Visa network. [In this example, 6540 is the MCC of Amzaon wallet load.]
