RBL Shoprite card acceptance

I have an RBL shoprite card (LTF, converted from Edition card). It doesn't really have anything going for it except for the 5% reward rate for offline groceries. I primarily use Amazon and Bigbasket for bigger grocery shopping but also frequent a local departmental store for day-to-day purchases.

I have swiped it say about 10 times over the past few weeks, and it got accepted only twice, i.e. got rejected 80% of the time. It was all HDFC PoS machines. Have you guys faced any such issue with RBL cards?

The card is good only for this one thing, and it failed even in that. 🤡

My other cards were accepted in the store without any issue - SBI, HDFC, ICICI.
RBL was the only Mastercard that I have. Could it be because of the network?

I also have mastercard variant and i have never faced any sort of transaction failures or unacceptency.

They say it's ltf

In my entire life I have faced issue of POS swipe rejection only once with IndusInd Iconia Amex more than 5 years back.
