What is the Highest possible limit for a secured Card ?

I recently applied for a credit card against FD from icici bank and discovered that they give only 5 Lakh at max no matter how big the deposit. I want to invest a large sum of money in fixed deposit and want to know which bank gives highest limit and what percentage as credit limit for credit card against it.

Yes For Mostly Mid-Range Cards (Like SBI Prime) The Floor Limit Is 40K And The Maximum Limit Is 10L (Talking About Un-Secured Card)

Will go for SBI or HDFC for FD as my icici one is near expiration and they are only giving coral or platinum with 5L limit which are useless imo

With your ITR and other credit cards, better go for unsecured or try offline. Tying FD with credit card not good, you have to pay annual fee for higher end cards plus incase if you close FD, card also closed.

You Also Can Get DCB With 7L FD... Will Get 5L Of CL

But My Suggestion Is That Get A Card Only If FD Is For Long Time Like 3-5 Years... Because As You Close Your FD Your Card Will Also Get Closed.

If he open FD in hdfc without asking for card, they will provide him card after few months with good limit upfront which will be lifetime unless it's regalia or infinia.

The HNI cards can have as high as 50 lakhs of limit in their unsecured form, namely HDFC Infinia, Axis Reserve, ICICI Emeralde, SBI Aurum etc. If you want highest limit, you need these kind of cards. Now all of these cards don't get offered as a secured card. For Infinia it's confirmed. They'll provide 85% of the limit of FD to the card. So the max cap is 50L. Not more than that.
