Indusind Exclusive Bank Account Opening Experience

Hi,

Story time. I had a Indie savings Account with Indusind bank. Then I got Pinnacle CC so thought of opening the exclusive savings account. Visited the branch in my city to open the bank account and the RM asked why is your address say Thane, Mumbai when you are in Gujarat. I told her, this is your Indie app's mistake so she processed an address update by doing KYC and helped in opening the savings account. She said you should receive the welcome kit within this week. I got the check book delivered at my home. The welcome kit was sent separately and the tracking said it is going to Thane, Mumbai. It was obviously returned to the bank because of incomplete/incorrect address. Then they dispatched the kit via Speed post and its tracking said it is going from Ahmedabad to Mumbai 🤷‍♂️ . It says delivered in Mumbai (I don't know where lol). Meanwhile I reached out to RM, Phone Support, Email Support and all said wait for 3/5 working days for resolution and then closed my requests without doing anything lol. I went on twitter today and I got similar response that they will reach out to me but no one reached out. Today I asked the RM about account closure process so she sent multiple photos of her PC stating welcome kit is dispatched. I asked her to open that tracking number and see where the kit is going lol. She said wait, I said ok and then she didn't reply today. LOL

Question: I would ideally like to keep the account but i'm not sure how long it would take for my welcome kit and nobody really cares about this issue at Indusind. It has been 26 days since I opened the account. Should I just close the account or anyone have a better solution here?

You can only wait. Even in my case it took more than a month for things to work properly. Better to wait and constantly follow up with your RM.
 
I have exclusive account with signature exclusive card but card's nfc payment doesnt work at all even tho the contactless payment is on. Card behaves as it doesnt have nfc but on card nfc logo is printed
Contacted customer card via email a month ago and everytime they reply as if we dont know anything . I am abroad now so cant do anything. They are not even trying to start a ticket for me as i have mailed quite a few times. Stuck without contactless card for 10 months till i get back to india

My welcome kit including the debit card was send to my old address and from there it was returned to Indusind Bank corporate address (Andheri, Mumbai)

I also chased them through RM, email, Twitter to deliver it back to my new address but nothing helped

At last i stopped chasing and started using the debit card details from mobile app

Till today, my physical debit card is lying in their Andheri corporate office and i am using the details from app

how did you register for online banking without the debit card? I am not interested in debit card, i just want netbanking.

Would this be enough to do the CC Bill Payments for which lot of people are getting Indus Ind accounts.
 
Ask your RM for the Instakit, which will include a debit card. You can use this debit card to activate your Netbanking.
i visited the branch today, RM was on leave so other folks assisted, he straight forward denied my the instakit stating it is only possible when you open a new account, i said it's a new account, he said while opening the account, we need to select instakit, now it's not possible.

there were 4 requests for welcome kit in their system, one pending from sept 15, one delivered on oct 4, one had no status, one reject(reason: duplicate request). After looking at these 4 requests, i asked to close my account and give me DD. 😀 He then suggested, let's close all your debit cards and issue a new one and if you still don't receive the new debit card then we will close it so i agreed. He processed a request for a basic debit card (although i have not received any msg/email for this request yet). I will wait 7 days and then close the account on Monday if I still not get a debit card.

If they have raised a request, you will soon receive an SR number in your email and SMS.
 
Now through the app apply for visa signature and once visa is delivered, drop a mail to exclusive customer service email for MC world(For reason mention better forex rates of MC card) and ask them to keep all cards active.
already applied for the visa signature from the app. what's the point of MC world? signature also has 0 forex, right?
