I want to generate my CIBIL score

I have recently turned 18 and looking for ways to increase/start my CIBIL score. I know that I can take a FD based credit card but is there any way to generate my CIBIL score
To generate Cibil score take fd base CreditCard
Idfc first wow(min 5k)
Icici palatinum credit card required saving account(min fd 10k)
One card fd base (min fd 5k)
You can also generate Cibil score by using BNPL
Aslo gold loan can generate Cibil score
Some banks provide pre approved credit card on saving account on zero Cibil
If your family members have cc take add on card wich aslo help to increase your cibil

Amazon Pay Later provided the quickest way to create CIBIL for my spouse whose Amazon account was very active before applying. Amazon partners may decline your request for Amazon Pay Later initially. So, if your Amazon account is actively used for purchases, try for Amazon Pay Later. Otherwise, try FD based credit card. Even after getting a FD based card, I recommend using Amazon to get Amazon Pay ICICI credit card after a few months down the road as it is the easiest to get.

Just open a regular or savings max a/c in hdfc depending how much balance you can maintain. Spend via the debit card provided, within 6 months you will get offer for credit card. Do not open BNPL, it sometimes impacts negatively.
Or get a fd card from icici/one card/idfc
Don't look for anything else😉😉
Apay cc is not for under 21, so no chance

Amazon pay is not an easy one to get with no cibil history. If anyone got it, they likely had an ICICI account for a while.
Also, it's not easy to get an unsecured card if are you not atleast 21yo. The cheapest option I would suggest is 10k FD card with kotak 811 account."

Or if your parents have an ICICI credit card, ask them to apply for addon card in your name. I believe icici reports it to Cibil and it should generate Cibil score.

Apply for Coral from ICICI or Millenia from HDFC - good chance to get. Open a bank account with them, and that'll increase your chances of getting a CC.

On another note, why do you want to build a CIBIL score at the age of 18? The CIBIL scores are heavily dependent upon the last 3 years transactions and even if you have a terrible score, you can improve it within a relatively short window. Also, if you have good banking relationships, then services other than credit cards can be availed without a good CIBIL score.

I want to reduce my credit utilisation in cibil report.

If I give add on credit card to my family member then it will show in my CIBIL.
yeah, and their spends would be counted in your credit utilization too. Also, Credit Utilization Ratio (CUR) is calculated every month (I may be wrong) but its aggregate is used for scoring... so keep CUR below 30% for 3-4 months and watch it grow

PS (sarcasm ahead): as family spends would be counted as your CUR, do not give add on cards to them and ask them to get their own 😀 /s

Other way is to open a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) account with any such service provider (such as Amazon Pay Later, Flipkart Pay Later, Simpl Pay Later, etc).

A word of advice, BNPL accounts show up as personal loan in credit reports, so do not open more than one BNPL account, As multiple open personal loans in credit reports are seen negatively by banks and financial institutions.
