Lounge usage on diners black

I have HDFC diners black CC. Also, got a supplementary card for my wife. As the card number, cvv, expiry is same on both cards.
Can we both access the domestic or international lounge at same time for free?

Yes, you can.

Yes. You can use both cards. But it won't work everywhere. On my trip to Singapore and Bali the add on card had worked at Singapore and Bali airport but during the layover at Ho chi Minh they did not accept admit the add on card holder. Stating that user is already checked in.
At that time I had to Use my magnus PP Guest Access.

I strongly advise, to always carry a backup card for lounge access.

Both are different cards , with unlimited lounge access on both

This won't work.

You can't use same card multiple times, the lounge's name is recorded with timestamp in bank statement. The only way you can use the same card bin no is when u use for add on member

For me they didn’t allow me to swipe both the cards at international lounge. They said only one can be swiped either mine or add on card and for other person a different card needs to be presented.

Which lounge denied? Both cards have different names so this shouldn't concern them. You can name the lounge for us to know.

Also there is a time gap that needs to be adhered while swiping add on card. Atleast around a 2-3 minutes or so. I faced similar issue at Changi airport
where my card (diners privilege) at the time was not being accepted immediately after wife's.

I asked them to swipe the person next to us in queue in the meantime, and then try again and voila it worked.

Similar case at the Chennai new terminal T3, it was technically domestic designated but same issue, I asked them to wait for 1-2 mins and try again.and it worked then

So I think their pos terminal machine may show the session is active the very minute u swipe the card (because hdfc has same exact card details except name) hence either you wait or let someone else swipe ur card in between

Had a similar experience at Vietnam lounge. DCB and addon accepted at Changi and Bali airports. But did not accept at Vietnam airport.

Is it only me or the istanbul airport is the worst? My cousins were denied boarding being 3 minutes late....the wifi is only free for 1 hour each number. Then there is this lounge thing u mentioned. So much for being a "wannabe European" country

Had similar experience with the wifi and lounge! Did not expect it.

I tried my DCBM primary and add on card at Patna, it didn’t accepted only one card. I had to use another card for my wife.
