HDFC Salary account downgrade SMS

I hold a HDFC Salary account from May'2018 and when I recently changed the org I had to shift my salary account to another bank as they don't support HDFC. I recently received this message saying my account will be downgraded soon. I don't keep any balance in this account and I use it the platinum debit card to pay the cc bills for the 1% CB.
Will they actually do it and if yes, what would be the lost benefit? Anything I can do to prevent?

Nothinv, if will be downgraded to classic or something. You can use the DC till its expiry

Wont they downgrade to standard? In that case would they not charge annual charges?

They will decrease it tierwise. if you dont keep any balance , it will be standard.

If you want that 1% benefit, you can opt for savings max variant( 25K mab) you would get free ESP. Ask your RM whether you can continue using that same dc or need to apply for a new one considering how esp and esp for preffered has same cost/features but different design.

If you are using any other features ( locker, demat), they would charge for that also.
