USING HDFC BUSINESS MONEYBACK SINCE 2014 INITIAL LIMIT WAS OF ₹75000 and my current limit is ₹1.25 lakhs.
and I haven't received any offer from the bank for any upgrade or big limit enhancement despite of 100% on time payment record.

You are in a great position to ask bank for an upgrade or LE.

Just bluff them that, you are considering to close the card if bank does not provide the same.

In 99 out of 100 times, on account of lengthy history with customers banks will do anything to retain you.

I also believe that along with contacting their customer care, you should also take this matter via email route.

This will definitely increase you chances.

Do update once you get something.

I was trying to Connect to representative on call but There was no option to talk to HDFC Excutive

in my experience, hdfc doesn't care.
i asked them to close my 3 year old card. they closed the card. after a few days, i received a call asking me the reason for closing the card!

try inputting some serious option number on IVR like card lost or fraud or something....they will assign a human to you. they will say that this is not the correct department, and then ask them to transfer the call to the correct dept.

also, usually after you put 2-3 options in IVR, if you are prompted and dont input anything, it will repeat the menu once or twice and then transfer you to human. but don't know if that works now...they have started disconnecting the call.

Don't ever say you are closing the card. Say, you are "rethinking" the benefits they are offering and "wondering" if this card worth holding onto!

Because we are not Adani or Ambani, whose account will give them all the business in the world.

If one CS does not budge, try another and keep trying!

in that particular case, i did really want to close the card, i was not bluffing or trying to negotiate.
just sharing my experience in case someone tries to play hardball with the negotiations with hdfc.

in contrast, i said the same thing to SBI - I want to close the card. and sbi literally begged me to continue having a card and also started putting ltf requests on my behalf, as if their life depended on it.

I had the opposite experience with SBI. I asked them to close the card and they did, no retention call or anything. 😀

@Harsh0607 I tried calling HDFC cards customer care after years. No option to talk to executive. Tried various options. Then got connected to a human representative after selecting report lost card. Told I need to discuss issue with the card. Lady said this is only for reporting loss of card, I should select option 4 after language something something. I explained all my attempts and she was kind to transfer the call to credit card department. Next day I had to speak again so tried report of lost card and another representative was connected. He repeatedly declined to connect to credit card care and asked me to chose the correct IVR option to speak. I got fed up and said I am sorry I called. He asked is there anything else he can do. I said the one thing I asked you cant do what else will you be able to do. without a word he transferred to card care.

When I received Diners Club Card, the enclosed pamphlet asked me to call a Non Tollfree number to generate pin. Doesnt work. The HDFC top level grievance department asks me to call another number. When I call it says this number is no longer valid I should call toll free. There also doesnt work.

I think NOBODY in HDFC knows that their IVR menu is changed and many of their customer care numbers are changed.

OMG ur lengthy attempt to get hdfc cc…here’s the trick call from your registered phone number and select cc then dont opt for card block just press next option where it will ask to input ur card no there u input wrong card no 2 times then 3rd time their ivr connect to cc guy.
Did this last month when i got charged in my ltf regalia which got reversed in 3 days.
Note: I hold savings max account and cc tagged to it so this trick works not sure about others
