Idfc cc limit spend

Hi , I have recently got idfc vistara cc wig a limit of 72k

So , I wanted to achieve the spend based benefit for 5 premium economy tickets , so should reach 12 lakhs , but the spending ability for the card is only 72 k .
If I wanted to pay the extra amount and spend it , the card is getting declined , upon contacting the customer care , they are saying that I can’t pay extra and use the limit as this is not available.

Can any one help , as there is such any rule .

hi there, IDFC which varaint.. could be IDFC Millennial.. and on 12 lakhs spend 5 Economy Ticket with 72k it quite a task why you wanna spend so much on IDFC CC alone & pls mentioned the Varaint, is it IDFC Vistara?

It is Idfc vistara only I have mentioned it in the first line of the paragraph

oh not sure how i missed it. never mind. i have mentioned it till not the best card to spend 12 lakhs and get 5 economy tickets.

You can use 72k than pay it than use it than pay it you just need to do it once every two months. For a year

IDFC and RBL have a weird rule. You can't spend more than the assigned limit in a statement cycle even after making payments.

Never faced this issue my card limit is 25k but I spent 50k each month generally I use the amount on beginning of the month than pay after 10-15 days than reuse it and pay after statement genration

When is your statement generation date?

I have personally tried it with SBI, please do one thing - Spend around 65-70k online, make payment, then you can again use it for offline swipe via Card swiping machines, it will definitely work. Banks apply per month limit on Online, Offline, POS separately.
Try it and do confirm if it works for you.
