Redemption - Infinia points on SmartBuy for Tanishq voucher

Hi, has anyone here redeemed Infinia points on SmartBuy for Tanishq vouchers.
I wanted to understand how the 70:30 split works in case of points redemption. Which of these scenarios is correct in case I want to redeem say 10000 points
1. At the time of redemption, I pay with 7000 points and INR 3000 and get a 10000 voucher in return. I can use the voucher for shopping worth 10000 at the store
2. I pay with 10000 points and get a 10000 voucher in return. At the time of shopping, store insists that I would need to buy something worth atleast 13000 to utilize the 10000 voucher

It's the first case. Just to add, you'll also get bonus points on the 3k that you are paying out of your pocket.

From my knowledge- if it’s a 70:30 offer
1. You select vouchers for Rs. 10000, payments thru points- 7000
Cash payment- 3000

The voucher value at Tanishq will be as per the selected voucher. You won’t have to add that 30%•

However It is best to consume the voucher fully since it is a one time use voucher. Any un used amount will go waste.

I have used it multiple times. FYI don't try to buy gold coin with it.
Suppose you want to buy 10K worth of Tanishq voucher. here is how it will work.
It will show the price as 10K points but that's just symbolic to conversion ratio.
At time of payment you have to pay 10K Rs which you can use points upto 70% (7K) points. It works in similar points redemption slider like in flights.
So in best case if you have 7K points, You will redeem it and pay remaining balance of 3K Rs.

I don't think there is limit on vouchers. (Cashier will be pissed off for sure). I used 10K+ 10K + 10K +2K Voucher

So what you mean is:

70% is of value/price of voucher/flight/hotel through points + 30% through card and NOT 70% of points you have accumulated + 30% through card.

For eg. To buy 10K voucher and I have 6500 points accumulated in my account: I would consume all 6500 points + 3500/- through card and NOT 4550 points (70% of 6500 points) + 5450/- through cash

Yes, you can pay upto 70% of voucher value using points. Monthly cap for tanishq redemption is 50k points.
