AMEX REFERRAL QUERY

Hello Friend,
I've referred my friend for Amex MRCC, But He Applied for Plat Travel and got it approved. He again applied for MRCC on next day and got it approved too.
What If he don't activate the Plat travel?
If there any risk on my reward point I got for his referral?

Amex Platinum Charge card holder can not refer lower variant cards. Is there any way around it?
