I hold a savings account and Privilege Credit Card with Axis Bank. Today, I received an email from Axis Bank stating that I am eligible for another credit card. Once I went through the email and clicked on 'Apply Now,' after providing my mobile number and PAN, the page landed on 'We're Sorry' . (screenshot)

This error has consistently occurred for the past two years, whether I apply through the web or the app.

Suggest how to remove this inherent error?

Suggest how to remove this inherent error?
This is a malpractice by axis employees. It happened with me as well. Someone from axis bank tried to apply a cc on your name but it was left in middle because he/she didn't get OTP confirmation. Only way to get out of this is either you apply directly via axis website or try through an branch agent.

Some Axis agents are saying that error will come forever!

Yes it will be there forever until you follow my advice. I have tried many methods even mailed pno multiple times but nothing worked. At last got my RM to issue me a card from her side (It was a pre-approved card). In axis if a application number starts with MLP then its a pre-approved card.

You just have to contact your axis branch regarding this and ask them to apply your pre-approved cc on your behalf or you can try this link.

Call customer care at 18604195555
Ask them
U want to atlas as new card ( upgrade)
They will check in their system ( assuming your limit to be 1 lakh +

They will say u r eligible and send you consent link while on call
U have to verify it using OTP
After call is dropped u can see card in app instantly

Assuming by your info u have one card ( previlage)atlas would be your 2nd card

Previlage will be active too

On same call or different
U can ask for another card ( Neo ltf or myzone ltf in rupay )
They will send you link too

After getting these two card u can close previlage

All card limit will be same

Yes me too have this issue i thought its an iPhone concern like ICICI in iPhone app the card upgrade will be showing fee but if sim change for a week in android then free upgrade triggers
So Axis Bank due to this problem i always use offline agent for card switch or new application
Sometimes cc also helping to procure new cards

For me bug stayed there even after a year then i got cc from RM but it cost me an cibil enquiry.

When you change simcasrds just to get the icici trigger, wouldnt you have to setup every other banking app and upi apps from scratch since the sim is removed from the original phone?
THis is the only reason I never remove my simcard since all finance apps keep checking if the sim is still valid and working and is in the phone. Once removed, they ask to setup everything again.. so thats a ton of OTPs and verifications and what not..
