Citi Migration to Axis

Hi,

I am holding CITI Bank Cashback CC which is now going to be Axis Bank Cashback CC. As I already have Axis Bank CC which is MB does it make sense to keep this as well , or I should get it closed I already have Axis Bank CC.

I am aware about that. What I'm asking is different. I'm asking does it make sense to keep this card ? As it will all be treated as Axis CC right ?

Yess u should 💯 keep it. 2/5/7% cashback is a good rate. Blended avg 5.65%

Capping 4k per month and more importantly ur limits will increased after merging.

My query is little different

I already hold 3 axis Bank cards
So will my Citi card convert in 4th axis cc or not???

As I heard that axis gave max 3 cards to a user

I am also holding 3 Axis cards, and 2 Citibank cards. After limits are merged , I’ll close few.

Only useful if someone doesn't have other better rewarding cashback cards like sbi cb, millenia, Swiggy, airtel and lit

Axis will change four card policy now

I think after the transfer is completed and everything settles down Axis will shoot off email stating its 3/4 card policy and asking user to choose 3/4 cards and close others.

I have Citi rewards credit card
It will convert into axis rewards credit card
Will it be worth for ₹ 1180/- annual fee??

Can anyone provide pros and cons of this card???

Benefits offered by this card..

worth for ₹1180/- that only you can tell depends on your use cases on those benefits.

If Citibank rewards was worth 1180 to you, then so is Axis. Name change hua hai and few extra features are added. There's no devaluation, yet.

I already have 4 Axis cards, so I will have 5 axis cards after the transition?
P.S. I still haven't received any email for migration of my Citi IOCL card

Citi fee was 590/-
And fee waiver on 30k spends

Where as axis fee is 1180/-
And fee waiver on 2.5 l

So it's definitely not same
