2) Received Club Marriot code as welcome benefit of DCB but surat marriot is not listed in the preferred hotel

Bonvoy is the loyalty program for all marriott group hotels.
Club marriott is regional - south india discount membership program.

If you plan to use in India, enrolling in both may be beneficial.

club marriot is a property-specific program where you can purchase vouchers for food,spa,stay etc.marriot bonvoy is different it will give you points on your stay at any Marriot property and in addition if you hit a certain milestone 10 nights or more you will get elite status as silver then gold then platinum etc.

for surat marriot you need to call the property and ask or you can call the centralised number of club marriot and ask them about the vouchers you have.

Almost immediately. Sometimes it reflects first on the mobile app and after a few hours on the web. So be sure to check both.

last year it saved lot of money at Goa Marriot thanks to club Marriot i paid 65k in total for 3 nights for 2 rooms inclusive of breakfast,lunch,dinner.which otherwise would have cost around 2.4L.also got 5 wine bottles.there were other vouchers also for cake,spa, and salon which i did not use.

Im mb gold as well. The hdfc card give the starting boost with 10 elite nights.

i had 5 membeships which costed me 65k.if i taken paid stay it would have cost me around 2.3-2.4 at goa marriot.so this way i have saved a lot of money.
