It already lost its charm and it is on its way to it's natural death..just like paytm and (NDTV before as a sort of independent player)..

If all things happen the way it was happening for the last decade , in about another decade ,consumers will be left with no choices in any field other than two big power houses.

There will be no alternatives in any field which provides top class products / services..
We are already witnessing in the Telcome field.. same / similar thing will happen in other major cash cow fields..

there will be some options available only in some B grade level products or services.. not definitely A level products / serivces..
