[Help needed] Is M4B or Magnus better for me?

Hello TFians,
So, I have an Infinia cc currently - limit is 9.5L. My major spends are amazon, amazon pay, swiggy.
Once every 3 months, I have to pay school fees for which I swipe on POS machine.
Once every 3 months I book flight tickets which cost me 10-15k.
Once every 6 months, Flight + hotel. (not luxury hotel - just decent 4 star hotel)

I dont cross 1.5L / month spends ever... unless i'm paying for a car (which I might in the next year)

I like infinia because its easy to use honestly, however for my expenses, would M4B or Magnus plain be more useful? please advice on how I can get best value.
[Open to suggestions for other cards as well]

M4B is best along with Infinia. Take it!! But M4B Cost 35K plus u have to Maintain the TRV. IF u r able to extract more than that then yes IF not stick with Infinia or get Atlas

See my featured article
Cards giving more than 10% return
Hi, thanks for replying. I saw your thread.
1. Axis Magnus Burgundy (30% on Eazy, 24% on Grabdeals and Traveledge) <- What all is covered under grabdeals? is it like Gyftr or different?

So I need help in understanding if I can extract more than that or not. seeing that I SPEND on normal transactions and redeem on flights. (Hotels I dont use much as I'm a club mahindra member so for holidays, I use them)

For the spends you have mentioned, Infinia will provide better value...

amazon, amazon pay, swiggy - Infinia between 13.8% to 16.7% vs M4B will be 9.6% (swiggy is slightly higher)
Domestic hotels - non branded - Infinia smartbuy provides much better value than M4B... but for direct hotel swipes M4B is better.
Flights - Both are equal mostly as Travel Edge is inflated compared to smartbuy... I personally prefer Infinia as you can use 70% points where as M4B is full payment

School fees - M4B is better than Infinia

If you are getting LTF M4B then go for it, else skip, unless you foresee expenses more than 1.5L/month more frequently or if you have to buy a car in which case M4B is no brainer

If your spends are around 1.5L/ quarter then you shld be happy with inifinia.. M4B is for higher spends on longer run.. Only then you get the juice of the card.. Do consider TRV/FB/MAB to be maintained for burgandy accs..

If you get those. Do consider how much funds is Locked into the bank. Calculate its interests too.. Few extra % of rewards is worth a shot?

1. Does any one have idea about, if one is having normal Axis Magnus (paying 12.5K membership fees) and few months down the line, if we have Burgundy Eligibility, upgrading the normal magnus to Burgundy Magnus will effect 30K membership fees? Did not see anyone mentioning this scenario.
2. At least I think it is written that the points will transfer without loss and the new transfer ratio will kick in on the same points.
3. Also does not mention, how does the milestone completion calculation work, where you have spent some amount in normal magnus and upgrade after 6 months, how is the yearly spend get calculated.

Would be helpful if anybody had the experience of upgrading Magnus to Burgundy recently.
